We have had excellent results with physio for my daughter. Recently it looked like she might have had a flare and two weeks' physio got rid of the swelling and warmth in the ankles. Our physio is always saying that keeping the stretches he has given us will also be prophylactic. It's just motivating the child to do the stretches, that is tricky, but well worth it.
I know it might be difficult to get access to physio in some hospitals - in Sheffield we are lucky, as we can just ring up and get seen. It's actually easier to get seen by physio than in clinic.
Hi, thank you for your response; its always good to hear a positive. If you have any tips on how you encourage your daughter to keep up with the physio, please do share with us.
