Regular followers of this group will know this Thursday February 28th is RARE DISEASE DAY. To show our support for this GLOBAL event and to raise the profile of ITP .... PLEASE WEAR SOMETHING PURPLE on RARE DISEASE DAY. Whatever you choose and it could be anything from an ITP Support Association PURPLE wrist band to a PURPLE tie or a PURPLE scarf please make a splash of PURPLE on Thursday and email me your pictures. My email address is [e-mail] and I will post all pictures to our Flickr album and more importantly to the RARE DISEASE album. By doing this we show that we really care about the bigger picture of RARE DISEASES and of course we raise awareness of ITP which is just one of over 6000 RARE DISEASES. So this THURSDAY .... I am going to the RARE DISEASE House of Commons Reception tomorrow so will be waving the flag for ITP so to speak.
