Side effects of ITP

Since I’ve been diagnosed I have a nagging dry cough that seems to never go away. Also my glands on neck are swollen. Just wondering if this is normal.

I experienced the same cough, I believe it was related to the steroid treatment .

Thanks, I’ve been off steroids for a month, but I still have dry cough. Annoying.

Hi Lawcomo, I have suffered from chronic ITP for decades now. I'm a man who's just hit 50.

One of my common issues has also been swollen glands in the neck, behind ears and armpits, regardless of whether I was on any treatment or not.

I've had all sorts of explanations from various GP's but I feel when my platelet count is low, like now the glands in my neck are swollen.

Thanks, my platelets were getting low, I got my endplate shot 8 weeks ago and platelets had been dropping but in normal range. At 50 got another shot and in a week went to 95. My glands in neck seem tone better I am 59,but just got diagnosed around January.
