how to manage weight gain while using Prednisolone

Medication?

tell me when did u gain weight after using Prednisolone Medication or while using it?

what are precautions to be taken to keep your weight in check.

I actually lost weight on prednisone when I was on it long term. Then after weening of if it my weight has gotten out of control. I've gained 20 lbs in about a month and a half. I eat whole30 and have eaten consistently whole30 for the last few years so there was no change in diet to account for the rapid weight gain. I'm wondering too what others have experienced with long term prednisone use.

I've been on prednisone off and on for the last 10 years, and was on low dose daily for 3 years. When I went on Promacta and was weaned off prednisone, I started losing the 50 pounds I had gained over the years. Then, Promacta stopped working and I was back on prednisone twice a day, along with receiving Rituxan infusions weekly. Rituxan increases appetite, also! Gained 20 pounds in 6 weeks!! It's a vicious circle.......and my platelets are at 18 after Rituxan and still on prednisone. It seems the more active I am, the more I want to eat, after any activity; but, being sedentary is worse for anyone with chronic ITP.
