PETICHIAE
its ITP designing . sorryy. actually its blood under ur skin.>?
These are just broken blood vessels under the skin and will disappear when your count increases - they are nothing to worry about from a cosmetic perspective but do indicate that your count is low at the moment so I hope that you are currently receiving the appropriate traetment
My count has been over 200 for the past couple of years. No new blood blisters but the ones l had when my count was very low l still have. I have to be very careful when shaving my legs. Meds?..oh l have been on prednisone revolade rituxamab ivig treatments and had a splenectomy not sure which one did the trick doctors don't even know. So good luck to you God bless and l pray you find your light at the end of the tunnel....its quite a ride....
Looks like your platelets may be low and you scratched yourself. My back looks similar to that but on a bigger scale because I asked my husband to rub my back because it ached. Doesn't hurt, didn't know it was there.
When my counts are low, I get similar petechia from anything--scratching an itch, too-tight shoes or waistband, carrying a plastic grocery bag. If you can, maybe get labs, just to be safe.
Yeah it's common for ITP warriors like us. Don't worry it goes off in 3 4 days whether your count increases or not, just turn your attention away from it and try to be normal. Good luck.
It could be that your platelet count is low. The thing with low platelet count is that we all show different symptoms like bruising, blood spots, bleeding at different levels of platelet count. So one person might get bruising, or red spots or blood in the urine, stools or nose bleeds at a platelet count of say 25 whilst another might not get anything until their count goes below 20 or even lower. We are all different. A full list of the various symptoms is available at itpsupport.org.uk/index.php...
