ITP with body pain

Is anyone face severe body pain with ITP, especially joints and frozen for many hours. Unable to walk or sit, raise hands....

Yes I have all of the above think mine is due to medication steroids/elthrombopag !!! I have currently stopped taking elthrombopag and am reducing steroids so as to be drug free thinking and hoping this makes things better. Are you on any medication? Like most people have said to me it's important to try and rest but understand how hard that is. Hope this helps. 😀

Thanks, My wife infected with ITP and she is not taking any medicine for the past one year after delivery. I had written two post My wife suffering from ITP with pregnancy, and Is Pregnancy induced ITP can go away after delivery gives more details.

But severe pain for the last two months with severe joint pains and feeling frozen legs, hands, currently platelet is nearly 8000.

Yes. Managing her life without surgery. No major issues till date hence not opted for indiumtest

I get severe pain in my joints especially from my waist down.. Some days Its a struggle to walk about, if I'm working, a day feels like a week as I'm a supervisor and I have to walk alot in safety boots.
