Hi all have been back on romoplostim since October 2014 been keeping in a safe place only using 0.2mg count was at 359 last week so didn't dose this week my count has shot up to 579 so not dosing again wondering what's going on has anyone else had this jumping high with no meds thanks Sarah

Sarah,

Yes this happened to me quite often. I found that the full effect of the Romiplostim came in 2 weeks after the dose. Often I would get to 400 and so would not have a dose and the next week I would be at 600. I would then drop back to 400 (not have a dose), drop to 250, (not have a dose), drop to 150 (have a dose) and then be back up to 400 again - I followed this cycle a few times. One time when I given too much I went up to 1,036 and so was obviously not given another dose but the next week I was at 1,084. The next week I went back to 396.

I eventually went into remission and have maintained an above 200 count without any medications for 3 months now.

Thanks Robert this gives me a bit of confidence I had remission July 2013 till February 2014 so here's hoping I have another thanks again Sarah
