Does long term dapsone therapy has any major side effects becoz i m on dapsone for many long time

My wife is taking Dapsone from last four month but have not faced major side effects so far. Initally when she started, after one month she had heavy hair fall but that has been stopped now without taking any additional treatment. however from last two weeks she is feeling tingling sensation in her fingures of both hands whenever she hold something with her fingures. Her platelet couts are also normal, not sure if this is due to Dapsone or anything else. We have an appointment with her heamatologist two days later let see what he says about it.
