My mother woke up at the night of 13th october. She asked my father to open the window as she started having breathing problem .She fainted and therefore she was admitted to the ICU. The doctor said that her lungs are filled with fluid. It will take time to clean. She is having lung infection. But the doctors are not able to get hold of the reasons that has caused lung infection. Did anyone had similar experience?

My experience was that there were many hospital infections that resulted in chest infections.

and there are plenty of things that mimic pneumonia
I hope your Mom turns a corner soon.
Thank you so much. We were very tensed. That night was something terrible for us. Suddenly she had breathing problem and she started foaming. Then she fainted. She is in ICU. The doctor cannot get hold of the reasons how and why did the infection occur. First they said it is pneumonia. Yesterday they informed us that they cannot understand what caused it and how. Till then they are giving antibiotics to her. I am scared for my mother .
