I have been feeling great for the last couple of weeks. I have not had any problems except a bit of constipation which I am now over. Until today I have had a slight watery bleed. I haven't had any bleeding till today is this normal?

Hi there. I would ask your GP to have a quick look and check all is ok. Probably nothing to worry about, but better safe than sorry. Xx

Thanks I can't get an appointment till next week. I feel ok and no high temperature. I only get pain when I need to go to the loo and that goes when I go. But I have been like that ever since they took the catheter out and that has eased a lot.

I'm still getting watery discharge 6.5 weeks on , when I do anything a bit more strenuous open bowels or when I first get up. It's really annoying, have had stitches and evverything checked but it still continues 😔 As RachaelE said it best to get checked and if they do swabs takes a little while to come back .

Seems to be common 3-6 weeks think it's the stitches dissolving lots about it on hyster sister site but again best to be checked as with Dr Google it doesn't give you people full experience. 😃

Hi there. I had bleeding start 3 weeks after op. It was intermittent for about a week and did get heavier if I over did things. I saw GP and she said it was stitches dissolving and I had an internal infection so put on antibiotics. Best you get it checked though as everyone is different. Good luck.

Thanks ladies I will be going to the docs this week. It's just so annoying knowing I am being very careful what I do.

Slight bleeding on and off. I have no pain and I feel fine except for this. Going to the docs on Monday that was the first appointment I could get.

If you look on like the hyster sister board lots of people have the discharge like 3-6 weeks it's the stitches disolving and sometimes you can see pieces of stitches coming out according to a friend that hadn't the same op ... so think if you got no other symptoms I would think it's just that ? hopefully on Monday all will be well 😀
