Hello, I am 47, dvt in both legs when I was 23! and other incidents.. however despite being a St Thomas' patient at the time, I like many failed the blood tests, so never was told I had this or that it was suspected! MaryF x

I'm 55 and was diagnosed in 1980 at 24 years old. This was after my second miscarriage. I had been having migraines for maybe 6 years before that. I didn't start taking warfarin for a few years, plus two more miscarriages, numerous dvt's and a stroke.

Hi, I'm 39 and I was dx 10years ago this past march after having three stokes.
I am 41 and have had this APS stuff since age 35. Im in th USA and in my area, there is little knowledge of the APS. I was diagnosed after my second PE in 6 months. The treatment started out being coumadin, then I started to clot even when compliant with the INR. I was placed on a daily injection of Arixtra. The clotting went away (prayers answered) but the disease process still remains now with seizures, fog, left sided weakness and a blur in my brain from the latest MRI.
Hi.
My daughter is 32 and has had it for 15 yrs (officially! ) but I suspect it may be longer because it took a massive PE and a blood clot in her lung before she received medical aid.
