Depending on your symptoms, pain and sleep it can be useful. Also with seizure control. But do recommend consulting with a medical professional is recommended.

I know it would help me sleep and possibly with my dizzy spells, my mind, and even the pain. I live n NM and have to get a card thru the state with my dr. It’s a little expensive but it’s definitely on my list of things to do when I can!

My hematologist did not have an issue. In fact he filled out the paperwork for me.

HI, as with any new drug or supplement, please do get advice from your GP and consultant, have heard from many that CBD oil can help with pain and sleep and all sorts of things, but I do not have the expertise to guide you on this, if it were me, I would be taking this subject to my main consultant and GP, to check for drug contraindications and to find out if they have other patients using it. You are right... was just really looking to see who are using these meds. As some doctors here in Canada are swaying towards treatment that way. As they have seen the benefits of it been used. Even workplace benefits are changing there coverage to support there employees this way.

My physical therapist uses CBD salve on my sore muscles. It works really well. However, I was taking a liquid sleep aid with CBD in it. I am cursing myself for taking it without doing research or consulting with my docs. It may have caused my hemohrragic stroke in February of this year. Here's a good article from Harvard on the subject:

I have my medical marijuana card here in Florida.

Cannabis is the only thing that allows me to finally sleep through the night. When I eat an edible, or use an oral tincture, I get a solid 7 hours of sleep with no residual grogginess or weed hangover. It alleviates my restless leg symptoms and the strange neurological sensations I get in my legs.

I also use it for when I have flare up pain.

I no longer have to occasionally take ativan/xanax or ambien.

All of my doctors, specialists and teams were ok with it.

I am very pleased!

It helps me sleep better as well. A better solid sleep from pain.

Imagine, I used to take an Ativan and ambien at the same time to sleep. Been able to walk away from those tow meds with cbd and thc. All my docs know.

I don’t do well with thc and think it aggravates dysautonomia. I think topical cbd is worthless, arnica works much better for me. Oral cbd works really well for sleep, anxiety and stress relief, but also seems to have a subtle addictive-like quality to it. I noticed if I take it and then stop I feel irritable and/or have rebound anxiety, difficulty sleeping. It’s subtle but present. For me, other herbs and supplements work better. Everyone is different.

I think CBD helps with pain. It gives you a dissociative effect that I’d bet would work wonders in fibromyalgia. CBD also helps to stabilizes blood vessels when they spasm as in APS. The same receptors are targeted by migraines meds called triptans which help with brain vessel spasms.

THC is the psychoactive portion in marijuana that gets you high. Some people don’t like it - gives them paranoia and anxiety. Some people find it gives them energy and mild euphoria.

I think it works but to each their own. CBD is biphasic meaning if you take too much it can make you very sleepy. A dose just right can do wonders for functionality.
