Hi there,

We are not Medical trained here!

We all have APS here and know a little from own experience and learn from other members.

What is tbi? Is it a brain injury? I wonder if he has an APS-Specialist for his APS? If I were you and my child had stomach cramps I would talk to a doctor and visit A&E and explain that he has APS.

I wonder if he is anticoagulated which is very important.

Hi, please do ask the main consultant about this, what you are describing is not unusual but this can be for any number of reasons, so it is important that you get expert help. It is possible to have stomach migraines, or to be getting used to the new medication or some of us are also quite gluten intolerant, but please do seek expert help as it could be being caused by something needing more investigation, in view of his underlying illness. Best wishes. MaryF

Terry: My son experienced a traumatic brain injury as the result of a nasty motorcycle accident three years ago. While blood clots were a concern during the many months of hospital recovery, he never did develop a clot. Did yours develop clots? I am unclear how they could conclude it was APS unless it showed up during testing. Docs here in the State seem to hate testing for genetic disorders unless it's a last resort.
