Confused. Again.

I'm just wondering if anyone can help. I have just received a letter saying this Lymphopenia so I have Google it. Does this mean that while I'm taking hydroxy chloroquine by bloods will drop further. And I will become really poorly. Just confused think I should stop taking them . Thanks x

Hi, you need to ring up your GP and or consultant and get some clarity as to what is going on, we can't advise you on your medication, your GP and in particular the consultant need to do this, you must insist on some sort of appointment so you can have peace of mind. MaryF

Thanks Mary. Sounds stupid but if feel neurotic phoning them and asking what does that mean. Should I be worried ? I always feel like they smirk at me so it stops me going x

No you are not neurotic, can you get an appointment with the GP? they will be able to help, presumably you also have a follow up appointment with the consultant, ring their secretary or the nurse in the clinic, and ask for an explanation or when you can have an urgent appointment, it is not good to stress about such things, and it is important that you know what to do with your medication, although I suspect if they wished you to stop they would say so. They will be used to patients ringing up to sort out issues. Try not to worry. MaryF
