I took it and it was horrendous. Not sure if it was due to my APS or the fact that I was ovulating naturally and I was put on a drug to make me ovulate! Felt physically and emotionally wrecked- had to be taken off it after a few weeks. Please be cautious. Good luck

Hi there,

I was given some meds to take for 3 months before starting Clomid to balance out my hormones.

After four years of trying it took just two months of Clomid to fall pregnant!

I found I had far more problems on the hormone balancing tablets than the Clomid but everyone is different.

Good luck with it all.

Hxx.

Hi

I took clomid many years ago when I found it difficult to concieve. Made 7 eggs first time round but didn't concieve. Made 3 next time, concieved then miscarried. Concieved without it after that but lost baby again at 10 weeks. No problems with tablets but used up all those eggs only to find out years later it was Aps causing miscarriages and possibly the dificulty conceiving in the first place.

I've had 2 miscarraiges 1 without clomid 1 with clomid and from that got diagnosed with Aps and wanted to no if going back on clomid was a good idea?

You should discuss it with your Aps consultant or rheumatologist. Personally if you can conceive without Clomid why take it, it's your anticoagulant that is important to stop the miscarriages.

Good Luck.
