Hi, firstly do you actually have Hughes Syndrome or APS? I need to establish that before answering. MaryF

I had this happen to me in 1996. They did MRI's of my brain and said I had aspartame poisoning from drinking too many diet colas and using Equal. I was doing all of that to avoid Diabetes which runs in my family. When I stopped using anything with aspartame, the pains finally went away. Don't know if this is what is happening to you, but if you use aspartame, this could be the problem. Doctors told me at Baylor that aspartame can cause brain tumors and symptoms of Alzheimers because it leaves plaque in your arteries.
