Bruises
I seem to remember that in the past you were on medication, are you off everything now? Who is supervising your care? MaryF x
It's usually due to blood thinners, you need to see your go about it really, always best to get symptoms checked x
One other thing to add on here, my young daughter years back age five came out in bruises from waist down to swollen feet, and it was thought at the time to be: Henoch-Schönlein purpura, she also at the time passed a Lupus test which was dismissed! It all adds to the current picture and diagnosis, this was of course prior to her being 16 and on Aspirin and Plaquenil. I am adding this in a point of interest, and of course some patients also have thrombocytopenia which also causes bruising. My late father had this also. MaryF x
I was only on asprin and clexane whilst pregnant, no one is supervising my care as i asked the gp to reffer me to some one as i keep having migranes, but she things there due to stress so wont refer
Please give the charity website in an email, to the practice you can usually get this if you ring up, and mark it for her to be forwarded on. As well as the actual webiste, high light two particular links, 1. The list of symptoms, and 2. the list of consultants she can refer to. If this does not work, you have an option to refer yourself privately to somebody, many people have to do this, unfortunately: hughes-syndrome.org/

I often get more bruises around that time of the month. My doctor said my hormones can affect things.
