Hi all, I'm really sorry to have my 22 year old son belong to this club! He was diagnosed at 15, I new exactly what it was. I don't have it, but my father might of. I do suffer from a pylinidol cyst(which is a form of it) When he was diagnosed I went into a tailspin, I'm not religious, but I prayed to take it from him and give it to me! I've learned to cope with it, he seems to handle it much better than me, he is very brace! So here are some of the things I've researched many lonely nights on the web. When he gets a flare, I make a past of organic honey, turmeric, coconut oil and a crack of black pepper. Apply it, cover with bandage and hope for the best. I would take the best Tumeric supplement you can find also. Also anything to deal with skin support. Now has anyone been put on Adalimumab? Sounds like a bit of a nasty medication, but they seem to be having good results with it. Any way, I wouldn't wish is condition on anyone, because it's such a hush hush disease it really needs to get way more public attention and funding, not sure how to go about that because people don't want to talk about it:(. Good luck and much love. If anyone reading this lives in the Vancouver BC area and has a family memeber 18 or under, there is a Pediatric Dermatologist who is a godsend. His name is Dr. Joseph Lam, unbelievable doc!

I’m on Humira, a version of Adalimumab in an injector pen,

I’m still on the base dose of one injection a fortnight and have been for 3 years with no major ill effects.

I’m back at uni studying sports rehabilitation which includes giving sports massage, I wear a swim suit with shorts built in for water session and avoid vest tops but that’s the only difference I have had to make
