Pills maintenance.

I have a few doses of my Truvada/Prezista/Norvir pills left in their boxes for 2 months now. The boxes are properly closed and kept and the drugs have an expiry date of next year. Only problem, is that I have removed the aluminium foil of the plastic lid.

Would you think that it is still safe to take those pills? Is the expiry date still valid if I wanted to postpone their taking a bit more?

Thank you in advance

They should be fine, just use them before you open another container.

it should be fine as long as they are kept in an air-tight container away from direct sunlight, air and water/moisture. :)

The pills are perfectly fine as long as they have been kept from the "elements" i.e: heat, direct sun, water, moisture, etc.

The expiratory date refers to the time frame that a medication is most effective.

Hope this helps.
