Photos?

So recently i have been getting a lot of messages regarding profile pictures. All i want to know is, what are your opinions on whether people should have a picture up or not? Should we know who we are talking to? or is this site an exception?

It's an individual decision? Should be available to do so but not if it can be linked from other non Poz people or outside of the site.

I agree it should be an individual choice whether they want a face picture or not.

I agree with Chris. I defo think no pics unless your happy to put them on. If people ask for pics then just say no. Plus its not easy putting pics up on here, it took me ages to upload it. However I do think that we self stigmatise ourselves and that the more people with pictures the better. I am fine with a random lady down the road knowing I have HIV as it's a virus that I have and not me. But i completely understand anyone with reservations in not having pictures.

It is good to have a pic, but it's a personal choice. I would like one but can't seem to find out how to put one on. 😊
