Hi I'm trying to find some information for my partner who was diagnosed with chronic Hepatitis B 7 years ago. He's hoping to speak to someone who has been living and managing their condition? Otherwise does anyone know of any support or online counselling services? Thanks so much, Zena

I found out I had hbv last summer, I see a specialist nurse who runs blood work ever 3 months. Does ur partner see a specialist?

Thanks for your reply Jenfer. Yes he sees a specialist but it's more he wants to speak and learn from others with hbv.

Hello zena 1986, I was diagnosed with Chronic Hep B two years ago. It's new to me too. I have felt unwell for many years. I did discover over the years that when I ate less bread, pasta, potatoes, rice, sugar and fruit, I would feel much better. Otherwise I would feel so tired, no energy, light headed and it would be difficult to concentrate. Also I would feel, kind of depressed. This way of eating works for me but maybe not for your partner. Please speak to the doctor if your partner wants to try eating this way because the doctor may advise your partner against it.

PS These days, I also avoid processed foods and ready meals.

I hope my reply is helpful.
