My husband met the consultant who did a fiboscan and told him their is live scarring and inflammation but its not cirrisis. But what i find worrying is he did another blood test and told my husband i need to check which genotype u are. (So many blood tests have been done since 4 months yet no one knows). He then said a panel will sit and decide which meds to put u on as this is a reoccurrence of hep c. He said we will let u know in 2 weeks.
My husbands appt was aug they have moved in forward since knowing about 1.9 million viral count and scarring !!!!!!!should i be worried as they are being quite abt the genotype? Why have we been moved 3 months earlier is there something more serious underneath that they are not sure abt?
Can some1 help as im really worried i dont wana worry my husband as i stay positive for him

Good news despite your frustration. I have scarring, hoping it doesn't develop into cirrhosis. Guessing they have moved husband up the list due to this. It's normal protocol so please try and stay calm, don't want you becoming ill due to stress π I now have a 9 month wait for another fibroscan despite it getting lots worse over 6 months so I can totally relate to your worries & situation. Keep busy, tire yourself out physically so the mind can rest ππ best wishes, navs π
