Golly gosh, I do feel shit today, still have the headache along with my vision being kinda off. Almost like they say what migraines are like but I never get those normally. Bit dizzy with it all and last night for the first time started itching so no sleep since around 1am yay π€€ luckily no nausea so far. Just got back from work and have never sweat so much in my life carrying stuff up stairs etc. I thought my heart will come out my chest and my head will explode. Luckily only worked until 1pm today. Home now and will have a lie down....hope this headache and dizziness will go eventually, as can't manage 12 weeks with that also driving for work is quite interesting in this state. So glad to be home now. Hope you are all coping ok!! π
So this is day 3 of treatment: Golly gosh... - Hepatitis C Trust
So this is day 3 of treatment
Keep drinking fluid and try and get some fresh air
Thank you, just climbed out of bed, took a painkiller earlier feeling a bit better, but this headache and vision thing is crap lol. Hope it will die down βΊοΈ
All the best to you!!! Sounds like you are making great progress βΊοΈ
Hi lucien, I suffered with dizziness for months before treatment, twas the virus, I know how alarming it can be and weird and disorientating. Had it with treatment also. Yes it's weird, so long as we know it's the pills it's doable. It won't last forever π I only get fast short dizzy spells now, way better. you're doing great. One day at a time. As the saying goes: "an inch is a cinch and a yard is hard" ππ
Yes it's weird when you just can't seem to see straight. I wouldn't be too bothered by it, it's just driving is not possible feeling like this and therefore can't go to work, I go up and down all the single track country lanes for work, don't even want to think about having to reverse for another car, lol! Also had dizziness quite often before treatment! If that was from the virus and would go away eventually, that would be awesome βΊοΈ here is hoping.
So today I'm staying home, slept quite good a bit of itching but not too bad. No nausea at all, which I'm grateful for. Otherwise just slight headache and dizziness. I always take my tablets with some jam toast lol. One bite of toast, one tablet, one sip of water, repeat six times π so maybe that's helped with the nausea. I did try taking them with actimel, but that didn't sit right in stomach together, so I take the actimel a bit later in the day. Have a good day, hope you are feeling fine π
Try and rest as much as possible drink tons of water use mild soaps I have 6 weeks left out of 24 keep us updated good luck
You doing really good having stuck it out so long!! Much respect to you! I'm drinking like a crazy person π maybe because I am lol. Whatever happens, we will get through this. Can't wait for the summer ππ΄ποΈ
Aww it takes some getting used to for sure. I finished treatment approx month ago? I had vertigo, dizziness really bad before treatment causing falling over. for sure that is the virus & will go after approx month after ending treatment. I really ate my way through the treatment & nausea although on different meds. Give the body fuel to help the battle between the meds & the virus. I only had to take 3 tabs but at 6 stone I feel any meds. I had mine with a bowl of porridge with yoghourt in. Been up all night, well got to sleep around 5 am so I won't be doing much today either π ππ
Bless you, it sucks not being able to sleep π€€ I have become the veggie queen, have never eaten so healthy in my life, even got myself a food processor π just discovered broccoli and cauliflower rice. I'm at the point where I'm contemplating stopping to eat meat, although I only really eat chicken mostly anyway. Going all crazy in the fruit and veg aisle at Lidl for the last month or so lol. If that dizziness goes eventually I will already be more than happy. Vertigo is awful I used to get it so bad that I couldn't get out of bed as the corners at the ceiling of the room would just spin and jump to and fro, if that's the way to describe it π΅ I ran into doors and once I ran right into my colleagues shoulder π luckily didn't have it that bad for a while. How are you feeling now and will you be put on something else? All the best to you π
Yes it honestly will go after some time off medication. If like me it was the virus. Thank you for asking, my face is keeping me awake π·had pretty gruesome surgery 18 months ago and something playing up in my jaw, hoping it's due to being on meds. Having to resort to painkillers, loathe taking medication π± as hep c I haven't really heard much apart from having a very low viral load. Back in April so just not thinking about it. never eaten meat, but I think whatever comes natural to a person. Lucky or not I am in tune with my body just getting everybody else to get in tune with it is the challenge πππ
You are doing a very good job at that, have been reading your posts which great interest for a few weeks, and it sounds like you arelooking after yourself really well, which is fantastic ! Everything will have to get better, I do understand not wanting to take any meds, I'm usually taking nothing at all, have to be forced to take a painkiller when I get a headache, always trying to sit it out lol. Yesterday though I didn't care and took one, but only after days with a headache π ten tablets a day for me is just waaaayyy too much, but I'll suck it up this time π hope you can get some rest and feel better soon, you are a great support to everyone on here, despite your own problems. I just love how positive you are π
Oh so familiar up all night exhausted but unable to sleep like a tourture treatment lol π€ͺπ΅π±
Awww thank you π well I am here and on the planet to help everyone and everything. never have put myself first but at the moment having to. To a degree. oh yes, I always have hope and always see a positive to any situation including having my last rights π26 yrs on and I can still smile ππ Onwards and upwards for you, will be tough at times but get under that duvet and ride it out. πππthinking of you ππ
Awwww thank you!! Feeling much better at the moment. Just had a nice meal (healthy!) π As long as I sit down I'm good right now, if I move about too much or pick anything off the floor kaboom dizzy π€£π΅ luckily have a day off tomorrow anyway, and Thursday and Friday I will hopefully attempt my work again. And then it's only 11 weeks left. I hope those buggers are dying right now lolπΎβ οΈπ» keep warm and well π
And I sincerely wish that you can get some relief from the troubles with your jaw πππ
Yes there's no pattern to the side effects, can be up and down. take advantage of the good days, hibernate if possible on the bad πeasier for me as I am self employed. oh yes they will be dying. just think if you didn't feel anything you'd be more worried that the drugs weren't working. That's what I told myself π By summer you'll be skipping to work ππππππ
Well done on completing 3 days! Fantastic to see more and more people getting treatment.
And hat off to you working through it remember to take it easy where you can.12 weeks will go a lot quicker than you think just take it day by day and week by week instead of focusing on the whole journey.
It can be up and down some days or weeks will be easier than others but itβs nothing you canβt handleπͺ all the very best of luck to you. Xx
