Advancements in Hep C treatment are making it easier for primary carers

I thought this article about simplifications in Hep C treatments was interesting. Has anyone else been treated by their primary care doctors? Or do you mainly see specialists?

Your link on my pc/tablet only showed a list of subjects on a medscape login page.

It sounds like a good idea to have primary care docs involved but I have to say in my case, the district nurses were the only real support I received and that wasnt pre treatment that was 2 yrs after and only after I had a tx due to hcv.

I dont think they are specialised enough.

I cant and couldnt believe the difference in expertise and ability between the many specialists I have seen and that at local practise level.

I would choose to be under and see a specialist in the area of concern every time.

Not what you're looking for?
