I am 79, have cirrhosis and am on week 5 of a clinical trial without interferon. At weeks 1 and 2, I was <25 and at week 4 was undetectable. I have had no side effects except feeling better. If this continues I will be Hep C free for the first time in 47 years--just before my 80th birthday.
