I had hep c twice due to dirty needles. not sure if I am suffering or just getting old. I'm 63 and this was40yrs ago

How can you have it twice? Were you treated and the virus was found undetectable? It does not go away without treatment. I am your age.

We'll, it went away. Then I came down with it about a year later.

I have never heard of it going away. Do you mean the symptoms went away?

the symtoms went away. a Doctor said I had hep c. eyes were yellow, and am not sure how I felt. it was 40 yrs ago. just know I cant give blood

Sorry to hear you're suffering whatever the cause.

Have you seen your doc..find out why you're not feeling that good?

Then you'll know what to do for the best.

Rethinking..maybe what you're referring to is not hep c but the bad effect you can get from dirty needles, you could get that and it goes away but doesn't mean you got hep c..it's different..i know as I've had it and hep c too

Have you ever been tested or d'you just think you have it?
