Worst episode ever, waiting for answers

Hello all. I'm 24 years old and in the middle of my heart journey. About 2 years ago I noticed that my heart was pounding quite a lot when doing any mild exercise such as walking or going up flights of stairs and I also got other symptoms such as loss of vision, lightheadedness etc. I take Propranolol but this doesn't always help. I had a 24 hour ECG done in December and they found 2 episodes of narrow complex tachycardia with a heartbeat of 154bpm. In the report it was labelled as sinus tachycardia of gradual onset and offset. There was very occasional atrial and ventricular ectopics. I then had a echocardiogram done, which I am hoping to have the results of tomorrow, and last week I had my 72 hour ECG. Just a little story of where I am with everything :) Today however, I had possibly one of my worst episodes to date. Last night, during the night, my partner woke me up because apparently I was snoring incredibly loudly. He said he had never heard me snore like that. I actually heard myself as I woke up and I was so shocked. Upon waking up I felt incredibly breathless and my heart was pounding. My chest felt like it was floating and fluttering. During the day yesterday I had had some pretty intense palpitations for no apparent reason. It took a while for this floaty feeling to pass before I could get back to sleep. Today I had a short nap because I was exhausted and when I woke up my heart was beating quite fast again. So I took my time, got up slowly and started to make my way upstairs to the toilet. When I got to the door of the toilet my heart was pounding so heart out of my chest. It was in my ears, I couldn't concentrate on anything. This went on for 2 minutes before I started feeling the floaty feeling in my chest. I had to sit on the bathroom floor because I felt so uneasy. I physically did not feel like I could stand with my heart pounding like that. My vision went fuzzy and blurry and I felt so lightheaded I thought I was going to pass out. I managed to get myself up and walking downstairs I felt like I was going to throw up. I checked my heart rate and it was 119bpm once I sat down. I have no idea what is going on with me anymore, but 2 days of palpitations and then this episode is not ideal. If they don't find anything from all these tests I am going to be very confused.

That sounds really challenging to be dealing with Honeybean2. I'm glad that you've had tests and will soon have the result and I hope that you get a definitive answer to what is going on with your heart. This sounds really alarming and I think you should explain to a health professional exactly what these episodes are now like and ask for detailed advice on how to deal with them. Hopefully if the solution to this is medication, it will be quickly prescribed so that you can manage the episodes without too much fear or discomfort.
