Fluttering of heart

I am having a fluttering feeling in the centre of my chest but not my heart. When this happens I feel a rush of blood to my head, not lightheaded ness. It just a sensation. It’s been happening very frequently. I have SVT but this isn’t racing heart. Any help on this? Thanks

I get this often. It feels as though my heart is quivering a most odd sensation. Ep doesn’t seem concerned about it. I find if medics don’t think something is an issue they tend to just pass it by. However that doesn’t help us dealing with the strange feeling and lightheaded ness.

I am awaiting a ct angiogram for the bouts of exhaustion and breathy ness I keep getting. Push your gp for support so you can find a resolution or at least an answer. Best wishes.

I started to have this about a year ago as you describe, I also have SVT but this is very different. I've had it much more frequently since I had an ablation 3 months ago. ECG has picked up ectopics, irregular beats and bigeminy and I'm awaiting follow up with my cardiologist. They initially prescribed a low dose beta blocker but it actually makes it worse so I'm not taking anything for it. I've researched that electrolytes can be a contributing factor (some take magnesium and potassium supplements), but blood tests have shown that mine are fine. I'll be following any other replies you get with interest.

I get that too when I eat. I have Svt.
