Hello.I have this.

I am a 39 year old woman.

Its where my heart goes out of sync for approx 5 seconds.A very fast heart beat.

It feels as if I have worms in my chest, thats the only way to describe it.

It comes on with no warning...Just hits me.

If you have it for less than 30 secs its called NSVT if you have it for more than 30 secs it is Sustained VT.

Hi Tracejar thanks for your reply

And the explanation mine seem to be

Extremely fast cluster but feel in sync

And regular beats for at about 8 beats in 2 seconds but not that often ,if this is really NSVT.

Have you seen Cardiologist for these?

Good luck .

I saw 3 cardiologist over 2 years who told me nothing was wrong. They never caught anything on a moniter and kept sending me home. They made me feel like it was me who had the problem...

I was in such a state.....I finally got good 4th cardiologist who managed to catch my VT on tape....I was then sent to Glenfields hospital where I stayed for 2 weeks.

I had heart scans the works. They are the bestvof the best there....

I also get a really fast heart beat for approx15 secs....you can see my pulse going like the clappers...then it steadys down to about a 90 bmp ....Only beta blockers bring it down to a normal range.

I think it could be AF or VT....But they need to capture it to be sure.

Hope that helps

I am happy you got to eventually get this diagnosis.

i am a male in my 50's I don't have CAD or Heart Disease or relevant to any younger family medical history And have normal Left Ventrical function .I will see 2nd Cardiologist for second opinion although the first one discharged me and

From my description of beats

Said this is Supraventicular Ectopic beats but no Holter test .The only Holter for24 hr was 4 yrs ago which found I had the odd Supraventicular Eptopic beat and no evidence Afib I have no family history of NSVT .He thinks I focus too much on heart .I have had for. Many years Nocturnal Tachycardia Sinus or maybe Supraventicular not sure .

He said my recent Echo was good result as I had successful Mitral Valve Repair 4 yrs ago and he is reassured with the results so much he discharged me from his care.I take Bisoprolol

2.5mg for nocturnal .

thanks for sharing your experience much appreciated.

Hi Hazhar,

thanks for the explanation ,you mean regular beats about 8 beats in 2 seconds sounds more like benign SVT rather than NSVT in your opinion?

Good Health

Thanks.
