Waiting time for "Panel" decision in South Wales.

Cardiologist rang me about 2 weeks ago to let me know he's had results on my coronary angiogram and he's now sending them to the "Panel" who decide on TAVI at Cardiff hospital. He couldn't give a timescale sadly.

Just wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation recently and could comment on possible waiting times.

Thank you

In South Wales they meet weekly on a fixed date.

Morning. Unfortunately the wait time usually depends on how serious they deem your heart problem to be and whether someone who is more serious needs their attention. Don’t worry though you are in the system and things usually progress quickly. Take the time to prepare yourself for the post op time. I hope everything goes smoothly for you.

My husbands consultant and team use to meet once a month. Probably need to ask the consultants P.A. she/he will know how often they meet in your area.
