Well my time has come.

I’m all ready for my operation to replace my aortic valve tomorrow morning. Hopefully first down at 8am.

Scared but positive.

Hi Andy. I’ve just re read your journal. It gives me a positive feeling that I may also have a recovery like yours.

Sat in my room at The Spire and it’s very quiet. I did ask if I could stay at home but they asked if I could come in for an early start in the morning.

I can’t really say I’m calm but hopefully 🤞 ll sleep 🤞

I’m glad that reading the journal has helped, it’s a very similar journey you’re undertaking and I am sure you will have just as good a recovery as mine. Try not to worry and everything will be fine!
