Hi I've got Menieres and have for about 5 years. I'm on Prochlorperazine and have been for a few years. I know a young woman (I'm 64) and she's had it quite bad but has managed to stabilize if over the last few years. I got put on the tablets after my Dr had a good laugh at my expense. He brought my medical history (quite lengthy) up on the screen and as we were trawling down we both went "Aaahh" at the same time. I have tinnitus and this brought my menieres on. The reason for his laughing - I own a motorhome and was trying to site on a slightly unlevel field, trying to drive up on my cheese wedges and making sure the tyres were going square on. As I was leaning out of the cab I kind of kept going and landed on my side. He asked "Let me guess the first thing you did was sit up and look round to see if anyone had seen you?" Yep. It does have one advantage - I'm a cheap night out as I don't need much alcohol before I feel dizzy. Every cloud .....😆
