Detuned earring from left ear after otitis.

Hello everyone.

About 10 days ago, I suffered, first from a flu and then a painful otitis on my left ear.

Since then, from my left ear I hear everything detuned exactly half and a tone up (ex: from my right ear I hear correctly an "F" and from my left ear I hear an "F #" or "F Sharp").

As a consequence any song or jingle is a total cacophony, unpleasant and annoying.

I'm terrified because I am a musician.

I have no idea if the Gp, a specialist from NHS or private may resolve this issue.

Along with it I have a loud whistling and tintinnus in both ears.

Thanks to anyone may give me a recommendation.

Ok. After two weeks I've edited my last post, the "deuning" of my left ear disappeared gradually.

Now I have just both ears clogged.

I must admit I was terrified.

I tought the issue would persist forever.

I couldn'tlisten nothing musical, not even the phone alarm.

The G.P. wasn't sure about what to do.

Not much clinical history about such case.

Luckily it disappeard.
