Since my full hysterectomy I seem to be a different person I get agitated stress emotional and angry but not sure why Is it normal for in to change u has a person

Did you have your ovaries removed? How long ago was your TH? If you give more information in your question people will have more context for their answers.

Hi I had total hysterectomy on the 20 February 2019 everything removed and now on hormone patches and cream but I am a different person and am still in a lot of abdominal pain which the gyne doesn’t know what’s causing it thank u for your reply

Sorry to hear you still have a lot of pain. The stress from that could be affecting your mood, but otherwise I have nothing from my own experience to offer. Here's hoping you'll get other replies.

Hi Islandanna

The personality and mood changes do sound like Menopausal symptoms, which your patches should help to relieve, although it can take a while to find the dose that works for you and you may need to increase your dose.

The pain can be due to a number of things. It takes a lot longer to heal internally than most people think, and things take a while to settle down. Your bladder may have moved and that can cause discomfort until your body gets used to it. Also, adhesions may have formed, which is a risk of surgery. Sometimes the pain from these eases without intervention, sometimes they need surgery to divide them, but this carries a risk of more forming.
