Got given a number to call to see how long my op would be and was told 5-6 months.

So what was the point of having my pre op today then?

Hi Kim,

Totally understand how you feel.

Make sure you’re on the cancellation list,if that works for you.

Keep calling!They have cancellations every day and sometimes the time is just right.

I’ve just had another surgery and was initially told at pre-op it would be 2-3 months but,I got a cancellation 3 weeks later.

Once your pre-op tests are all satisfied,you’re good to go as it were.

I would definitely phone the admissions team or your consultant’s secretary and make sure they remember your name.It’s she who shouts the loudest I’m afraid!
