Phantom periods??

I’m 2 years since having a full hysterectomy but I seem to be having all the awful signs of coming on my period every month for a while now. I thought I was rid of these pains 😭

Hi Sarahcoops. Did you also have your ovaries removed and what was the reason for the surgery? If you still have your ovaries, they could still be active or if you have endometriosis that could be coming back. If you’re on HRT and had endometriosis, do you have combined oestrogen and progesterone? Sorry for the questions, but there could be several reasons for the pain, including phantom period pains which I had for a few months, but have now settled down. If you’re very worried, perhaps you should see your GP? X
