Hi have any of you suffered a trapped sciatic nerve. It's is driving me crazy nothing touches the pain.

My fibroid is large and pressing on my kidneys and urethas but when it moves it traps the nerve any ideas on how to try to ease the pain

Have to wait till 26/10/16 for my op date

Oh no 🙁 Sounds dreadful 🙁

I had dreadful back pain with spasms and found heat useful (hot water bottle) and lying flat. I also heard Valium/diazepam good but I didn't have any (and couldn't get out to get any)

Thinking of you 😊 Best wishes

I have sciatic type pain in my left leg which has been super painful, especially when sitting down. My GP prescribed pregablin which blocks pain signals from the nerve (I think!) My pain has been so much better since being on these. It might be worth seeing your GP and seeing what other options they might have for you to try.
