Hysterectomy abdominally

Hi Ladies, Have any of you had your hysterectomy done abominably? if so why? Thanks Sarahxx

Hi sarah , do you mean like a bikini line cut . I had one four weeks , I had it as I had fibroids and two were biggish ( one big as a grapefruit . ). I also had staples not stitches but everything was fine. Hope all goes well with yours . Lou xx

Due to have bikini line cut across about 10cm my consultant said, due to have everything removed Apr/May due to suspected Adenomyosis and severe endo, I also have fibroids and three large endometriomas, sadly both my ovaries are diseased and causing me a lot of pains so at 49 my consultant informed me they need to be removed as well 😖 have you had your surgery? 😘 Sarah-Kate xx

Thanks Hendrix for your reply, I'm due to have everything removed abdominally Apr/May if you can offer me some advice I would really appreciate it as you have been through it. How you doing? 😘 Sarah-Kate xx

Yes I had this vertical incision due to being told I had ovarian cancer, oneof the tumours was 10 by 15 had everything removed, including appendix. Results showed no cancer thank god but severe endometriosis.
