Tree-hugger,

Found this on Google :

The liver, however, is able to replace damaged tissue with new cells. If up to 50 - 60 percent of the liver cells may be killed within 3 - 4 days in an extreme case like a Tylenol overdose, the liver will repair completely after 30 days if no complications arise.

Thank you for the information. Are there any products you can take to help regeneration?

The herb Milk Thistle is often used by Medical Herbalists to encourage the liver to regenerate following damage. There is evidence to support use if you look on websites like the PubMed database, but for a more personalised approach to treatment it would be better to speak to a Medical Herbalist.

Good luck with your health issues, reducing your alcohol intake reduces your risk of several cancers, blood pressure and heart problems as well as doing your liver a favour!
