My personal experience led me to give up caffeine (which is a stimulant), drink more water, drink cranberry juice and eat less bread (yeast). Hope you feel better soon!

A lot of older people (like my mum) try to drink less so they won’t need a loo when they are out, and as a result, get an infection in their bladder, which makes them need to go more often! A viscous circle, and lack of public toilets doesn’t help!

Hi and good luck with your healthy eating. Re bladder infection you should take a morning water sample to your doctor or practice nurse for testing to see if you need antibiotics. Meanwhile drink lots of water and rest. Not nice. Hope you are better soon.

What’s really helped me with bladder infections is go to your local health food store and buy raw probiotics vaginal care 50 billion. It’s for vaginal flora balance and urinary tract health. I have not been having to take my macrobid for any uti for several months!!! It’s truly unbelievable no Persciptions necessary and much safer than antibiotics!!!
