I often drink lemon and honey first thing as it wakes up the digestive system and I like it LOL. I also eat a lot of stewed apples and add cinnamon to that.

I think most natural remedies like that are as much preventative as curative, but I've no experience whether that mix works. I have read honey's best not cooked, & that it's raw unpasteurised honey that has the health benefits, so no harm trying the two. Sri Lankan cinnamon is also supposed to have more healing properties.
If nothing else, it will taste nice & be warming, even better with added lemon!
Perhaps put your honey and cinnamon on some morning porridge?
Make a lovely warming drink in a mug of quarter teaspoon of turmeric powder with a couple of grinds of black pepper a shake of ginger powder and another of cinnamon powder. Add runny honey to taste and top up with very warm water. Always use a Use a wooden spoon when using honey and stirring it.You could strain it but I think its better to have it all if you can.
Try golden milk too, at bed time.look it up!
All the best
