A sea of thistles.

Hi everyone,

This is the path home from my local shop and as you can see it’s a little overgrown! I’m amazed at all the thistles as I used to see them as a garden weed but here they are perfect and provide pollen for insects and give a lovely stripe of colour.

I took this photo yesterday as it’s wet and windy here now. ☔️💨

The insects will enjoy all those thistles. I think they are a lovely purple colour - very nice. I'm glad you enjoyed your walk yesterday.

That’s right Zest we had a family of wild boars living around here and I’ve photos of them on the path it’s very disconcerting!🐗

And there were babies “humbugs” beside me and this is what happened next…🐗 I knew to stop, then the humbugs crossed the path and they all went off…
