I haven't been going for many walks as I wanted a muscle & tendon injury to recover plus I've had lots to do at home thats been keeping me busy.
I moved here on the 14th Nov last year and we'd had heavy rain with high winds so it looked like early winter and everyone said you'd should've seen it last weekend. So here we are about to be hit by another Atlantic storm with high winds and rain tonight so I thought a walk in the forest was a must as its a beautiful day here and I'm so glad that I did as this was what greeted me.
This is one of my favourite spots in the forest as there are lots of nut hatches (bandits) living here.
I love walking and walking out in Mother Nature it is so good for us in so many ways and I've missed my walks so hopefully thats about to change.
My thoughts are with those affected by the flooding as that looks horrendous, so stay safe and dry.
Fabulous display of autumn colours in the trees. Walking is so good for the body, mind and soul so Iβm sorry youβve still had to take it slowly due to your tendon injury. I suppose itβs one of those things you canβt hurry and will heal when it heals. Hopefully not much longer for your sake.
Iβm glad you managed to get out and enjoy the day before the storms tomorrow.
The past year has whizzed by since you said you had moved, Iβm amazed itβs a year already! Time flies by.
The colours are so transient as the tress will be bare soon so it's lovely when the sun catches them just right, as they will fall soon, so it was a wondrous being there...π
Hope you enjoyed your walk Jerry, I can't believe it has been a year already, since you moved - my goodness the years are flying past. Tendon injurys are so painful, I hope that heals very soon Jerry
Oh Jerry what a beautiful photo, the colours are stunning.
I'm so pleased you managed to get out for a walk in the lovely weather and before the rain.
I hope you are clear of floods where you are.
Can't believe it's a year since you moved, time flies.

Thanks Alicia I was stunned by the colours and enjoyed an afternoon walk in the forest.
I live on a hill so the water runs down past me and I've a stream which's a torrent at the moment.
I am so pleased that I moved and that's whats important as it was very stressful.
Jerry. π

They certainly are beautiful, I love the photo, you captured the colours really well.
You're like me then as I also live on a hill. The streams are torrents at the moment.
I'm really glad you did move, life's worth more than too much stress that's for sure.

Moving is stressful Alicia so I am so glad that I did as I'm happy here, plus I've had lots of work done and am very pleased with that, so I've achieved what I wanted.

It certainly is but I'm so glad your are very happy and pleased with the work, that's a big part of moving. I'm glad we are staying where we are as we live in the countryside and as you know I love walking.π

Thanks Alicia, I think it's great that you are happy with where you live and I know what a beautiful area t is.
As you have it all, estuaries the moors the sea and the proximity to a city, so fabulous especially as you love walking and like cycling and you really appreciate it. π

I certainly am thank you. The only reason I'd move is if my family did as I'd miss them greatly.
Yes we do have a lot around us, I'll be glad for some dried weather though as the Moors isn't feasible at present due to bits. I love my bike and am would like to take part in a cycle challenge which I'm looking into at present, it all depends on cost.π΄ββοΈ
