A good start to the day

I cleaned the house, partially spring cleaned it, and then decided to go out for a walk before the rain hit us. I have to say i got a little damp to say the least as when I was about half way through my walk the heavy drizzle started.

Looking out of the window now we have thick mist, the beauty of living on the coast.๐Ÿ˜‰

There is a screenshot of the steps I did and some photos, hope you like them.

Enjoy the rest of your day.๐Ÿ˜€

Hey Alicia you're full of beans spring cleaning your house and then going for a long walk as nearly 16K steps is excellent. I think that your collage pf photo's are really good as the countryside looks beautiful regardless of the weather and I like walking in the rain as long as I'm prepared for it.

So I'm glad that you're enjoying your day. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Thank you Jerry.

Funny thing is I wasn't full of beans when I got out of bed so ended up missing breakfast which actually is a good thing as then it's longer from when you last ate. Once I had finished the housework it was still dry so I decided that I was going to go out. Walking boots though this time of year as we've had so much rain. I wasn't dressed for the rain but it didn't bother me as it was only heavy drizzle, it very heavy rain.

Enjoy the rest of your day Jerry. :)

Lovely photos of the countryside Alicia and your step count is very good. I agree with Jerry you are full of beans and itโ€™s a great feeling when the house is all straight ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you Ali. I used to let the weather stop me but unless the rain is very heavy, like we've just had, or there's ice on the ground then I'm out there.

Can't do any walking tomorrow as I'll be with my youngest daughter at the hospital with her youngest daughter's regular blood tests and Rhuemetoloy appointments.

Lovely when the house is clean.

Have a lovely evening.

Hi Alicia,

I'm so glad you managed to get out and about before the weather got worse. I've just been reading about Storm Lorenzo in an article, so stay safe.

That collage is lovely - and you've done a great amount of steps there. :-)

Zest :-)

Hi Zest

Yes I'm glad as well as we've just had about 2 hours of very heavy rain, it's calmed down now.

I read about Storm Lorenzo as well, it's that time of year again. Hope it's both too bad in Guernsey.

Have a lovely evening.

Wow Alicia - you must run on duracell batteries, thats totally amazing. That are lovely photos, and doing a spring clean first - brilliant ๐Ÿ˜

Thank you Debs, love your response. My hubby calls me 'the Duracell Bunny, mind you he's walked over 31000 steps today in the house๐Ÿ˜ฎ, don't know how he does it. I've not been on a walk today as I accompanied my daughter at the hospital whilst her youngest daughter had her regular blood test.

Not sure about tomorrow either as we have mother in law's 90th lunch, not looking forward to that, you either like mother in law's or you don't, need I say more!

I'm going to see if I can get out before the lunch.

I always like your photos and applaud your steps.
