The Heron in flight over a forest pond.

Hi everyone, after Ali said about herons looking prehistoric in flight I had to agree.

As everything is seriously green and the heron is grey and flying away she looks a little insignificant. But it does look very graceful and prehistoric and this is a beautiful bird.

I love the green of the forest like this and their ponds and lakes are magic, so well worth investigating and a great destiny for a peaceful walk. 😊

Hi Jerry,

Thank you for showing us your lovely photo. I love it. I think that looks like a lovely place to live and I can see why the heron and the goose would hang out together there 😁 🌱
