The frost on the forest pond.

Hie everyone,

We've had some exceptionally high pressure over the last few days meaning cold bright sunny winter days and bitterly cold at night, because the pressure is high the air is dry and cold so the dew has come out of the atmosphere as frost.

We have a had heavy frost here so the pond has frozen so here's a photo with frost on the pond and you can see how heavy the frost is in areas sheltered form the sun.

I went for a walk this morning as it was sunny and bracing and I wanted to experience it before the sun had been up for long.

I wore my new wooly beanie hat knitted by my friend Leah so with my other outdoor clothes I was lovely and warm.

I was pleased as it was a magical seeing Mother Nature in action. 😊

Hi Zest it's magical as the deciduous trees are covered in frost and I thought that this looked surreal, the best bit is the soggy mud is frozen so much nicer for a walk. 😊

How lovely Jerry. I love winter photos. It's much more frosty where you are than where I am. You know they're a good friend when they knit you a hat. That was kind. 🙂

Hey thanks Ali, me too as ones like this are fleeting we are having hard frosts here so the trees look a ghostly white until the sun touches them. 😊
