Happy Christmas and healthy New Year

To all those who are still struggling with their conditions, I wish you a healthy and happy Christmas and New Year.

It’s been a difficult year for myself, dealing with so much paperwork, and the writing of Christmas cards which is amazing because this year I bought myself a small hand printer, my grandson Harry set it up for me and I am now able with the help of my iPad to use the printer to write and address the envelopes and cards myself. Totally awesome.. I am unable to write due to my essential tremor, finding this printer is awesome.

The paperwork is finally signed, sealed and delivered to my solicitor and he has sent it to the court.

For the first time in a long time, my table is nearly cleared of Paperwork, and Christmas cards. I feel a great weight has been lifted from my shoulders, it is the courts who want the paperwork . but it’s done now and now I wait for the 7th of February 2024. I have not yet heard from the crown prosecution service, so I wait. I pray by this time next year everything will be sorted and I will know whether I can stay in my home?

I’m seeing a wonderful psychologist called Charlott who is helping me so much dealing with post traumatic stress disorder, and head injuries also my speech. But I’m getting there, it’s a bit starting to climb a mountain some days I feel strong enough to start to climb, other days I might look at it and decide it’s too difficult, but then another day comes and I begin again to climb the mountain. A step at a time..

wish you very happy and joyful Christmas, and healthy and comforting New Year. God bless you all and thank you for all your support. Love and blessings from Liz and my adorable doggy Shelly

Hello lovely Liz. The hand printer sounds great for making your paperwork/cards so much more manageable. Good for Harry !

I used to be proud of my handwriting but, since the brain injury, the pen just won't behave as I want it to ; I manage though.

I really hope your divorce settlement is sorted without further delay and that you can stay put with little Shelly.

I divorced many years ago and had to move with two young children ; the three of us have been a great team ever since. So worth all the anguish.

Sending my best wishes for a pleasant Christmas and for the best possible outcome in 2024. You so deserve it m'dear.

Look after yourself, and give Shelly a tummy tickle from me,,, Love Cat x

I can understand how clerical stuff can be exhausting and seem like a mountain that you dont always want to climb.

But a “little and often” with some days making small levels of progress and others great leaps. More than that, never give up, you are making progress every day whether it feels like it or not.
