Yes it is. Don't know about you but mine is worse when I lie down on the back or left side of my head on pillow. It does not help when medical Prof do not listen and just say it is a migraine and put you on antidepressant which do not help and only take away your spirit.

Hi MessySYes, brain pain is hard.

Try pacing yourself instead of trying to push through.

This might look like doing something for1 minute and then resting for 15 minutes or more. Then maybe next week, or the week after, you can do 1 minute 10 seconds, then rest.

You may last longer depending on what it is.

The idea is to stop before you are fried, because usually the crash after lasts a long time.

A fatigued brain can't be pushed, trust it really is doing its best for you - be a kind friend to it, not a cranky one who is never satisfied. You'll be happier in the long run, and recover faster.

Good advice Leaf, just a shame the stubborn part of my brain never listens to the sensible part....

Oh yes, I went through, and still go through, it myself. When I am able to find a sweeter spot it does help - and sometimes when life has been crazy, reminding myself that rest is necessary, also helps get me through.Sunday I slept as much as I wanted because I needed to do submit some paperwork on Monday. It is very simple, and a free program pulls all the info in from the government website, and I had everything together to double check. My guess is most people do the lot in less than an hour. It took me... well.. elapsed time and working time aren't the same, but supposing there wasn't the need for elapsed time - which there is - because I need to give myself a lot of processing time to get in the right gear - and including rest, about 3 days. (The paperwork is due May 1.)

I am on time. A miracle. (Of course something won't be right with it, but I'll find that out later...)
