Looking for recommendations

After nearly two years in an extended rehab facility we’ve been told our son has reached as far as he can. We always wanted him home but he needs 24 hour care as he has many complex needs after his brain injury. We are based in Cumbria and trying to find the most suitable residential home for him. Can anyone recommend any? We are willing to move to be nearer him if it means an out of county placement.

Thank you

Hi, we do have a few Headway Approved Provider units in the area, and you can browse our list here: headway.org.uk/supporting-y...

It's worth contacting our helpline too, to see if they can give you any more guidance. You can contact the team on 0808 800 2244 or helpline@headway.org.uk

Best wishes,

Andrew (Headway)
