I was googling around part of my original diagnosis of. ' Possible neurocognitive disorder in the context of TBI' to try and get some clarity before I talk to my GP - as they have only put the part of my diagnosis on my records that refers to 'mixed anxiety/ depressive disorder' - which is somewhat annoying! (The remaining part of my diagnosis was 'Mild (probable) or Symptomatic (possible) TBI' - which refers to the Mayo TBI classification system, and as far as I can work out, means mild to moderate - rather than moderate to severe TBI - which makes sense )
Anyway, re the neurocognitive bit, I found this online - which while it didn't give me anything specific about my own diagnosis, I thought still seemed really quite interesting and comprehensive - so thought I would share
Thank you so much PG - a lot of information here that I suspected - that is probably why I'm so desperate to downsize and become minimalistic - stuff is so complicated! Hope you haven't found Christmas too stressful - happy & peaceful new year ❣️
To you too, cyclinghu 😊 - it does look like there's a lot of fairly solid stuff on that link - I've just dipped into it again! Christmas has been quieter than planned because my son and his family have Covid, but the silver lining is that with a fridge of food and a tidy home, I'm actually having a bit of a break now!
Thanks for sharing. It looks pretty comprehensive and I look forward to reading it. Cognitive overwhelm is so challenging daily that it’s helpful to have the subject at least made more understandable.
Hi Cb, it always seems to help me to see the various weird effects we get just set out in black and white - it's the acknowledgement I think that helps somehow.
